Verified mechanics

Every mechanic on treadworks completes a profile with their specialties, services, location, and references. Reviews are tied to real completed bookings — no fakes. Mechanics with a pattern of complaints lose access to the platform.

Safe communication

All messages between riders and mechanics happen in-app. We don't share phone numbers or home addresses publicly. Your service address is only revealed to the mechanic after a booking is confirmed.

Reviews that mean something

Only completed bookings can be reviewed. Both ratings and written feedback are public on the mechanic's profile. Mechanics can't edit or remove reviews — we believe in transparent reputation.

Fair payments

Pricing is locked in before you book — service, travel fee, platform fee, total. No surprise charges. If a booking is cancelled or the mechanic no-shows, you're not charged.

Dispute resolution

If something goes wrong — the work wasn't done right, a part was damaged, the mechanic didn't show — reach out to support within 7 days. We review every dispute, mediate between the parties, and issue refunds when warranted.

Report a concern

Spotted unsafe behavior, harassment, or someone violating our policies? Use the report button on any booking, message thread, or profile. We respond within 24 hours and act on every legitimate report.
