How treadworks works
We connect Colorado riders with trusted local mechanics. Two simple paths — one if you need a fix, one if you offer them.
For riders
From flat tire to back on trail
- Step 1
Tell us what you need
Search mechanics by city and specialty, or describe an issue and let mechanics diagnose and quote it. Not sure what's wrong? That's fine.
- Step 2
Compare options
See profiles, hourly rates, services, and reviews on a map. Filter by what you actually need — drivetrain, suspension, brakes, full service.
- Step 3
Book on your schedule
Pick a time from real-time availability. Choose mobile service (they come to you) or drop off at their shop. Save addresses and bike info to skip typing.
- Step 4
Get fixed up
Your mechanic confirms, shows up, and gets to work. Parts are tracked in-app — you'll see what was ordered and when it arrives. Message directly when needed.
- Step 5
Rate the work
Leave a review so the next rider knows what to expect. Your feedback shapes who rises to the top of the platform.
For mechanics
Get bookings without the marketing hustle
- Step 1
Set up your profile
List your specialties, services, hourly rate, and whether you do mobile, shop-based, or both. Set your weekly availability — riders only see the times that actually work for you.
- Step 2
Get matched
Riders nearby find you ranked by rating, specialty match, and proximity. You'll also see open quote requests in your specialties on the map.
- Step 3
Confirm what fits
Accept bookings, decline what doesn't work, and submit quotes on bigger jobs. Use AI-assisted parts suggestions to get the rider ordering exactly what you need before they arrive.
- Step 4
Show up and get paid
Travel fees, platform fee, and totals are calculated up front. Mark bookings complete when the work is done.
- Step 5
Grow your reputation
Reviews drive more bookings. Top-rated mechanics get featured to riders searching nearby.
